M ercedez-Benz USA has appointed Mark Jackson to general of information technology at the company's Montvale, N.J. headquarters. Jackson replaces Vince Morrotti, who joined DaimlerChrysler in Auburn Hills, Mich., as director of enterprise programs and leadership.

In 18 years in information systems, procurement and finance, Jackson was most recently senior

manager at DaimlerChrysler. He began his automotive career with Chrysler in 1986, where he held several positions in procurement and finance.

  • A seminar on financial planning for changes in employment will be held Aug. 18.

Morgan Stanley Dean Witter senior vice president and financial advisor Charles Stoner will make a presentation "Changing jobs? Retiring?   • Jacquelin Peters has been promoted to program director of 100 Black Men of Charlotte.

 

Wilform


Peters, who oversees Movement of Youth, the Charlotte Youth connection and tutorial sessions for the organization, which mentors black youth.

Peters previously was director of programs at the Afro-American Cultural Center and she has curated folk arts programs for the National Black Arts Festival in Atlanta since 1992.

  • Debra B. Wilform has been promoted to assistant vice president at Wachovia Bank N.A.

Wilform joined the bank in 1993 as a human resources officer. A native of York, S.C., she is a graduate of Winthrop University.
