"Blackbirds of Broadway, " a Harlem rhapsody, will open at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center downtown on Oct. 6 and run through Oct. 17. Official opening date is Oct. 8. The show will be held in the Booth Playhouse. Tickets range from $17 for preview nights to $24.50 for weekends.
